Some Things to Know

I mean it when I say I love this work.  If we meet, you will know this about me, for sure.  I really strive to do the best work I can for the clients I have.  As such, at times I carry a wait list.  I don't want to overwhelm my ability to be effective. 

I value my time and I will work hard to make each hour we spend together feel like actual productive work.  Your job is to show up.  My job is to facilitate a moment of real change. 

I am not the therapist or supervisor for everyone.  I will be transparent about this and if I feel you would do better to work with someone else, I maintain an excellent group of referral therapists who specialize in all the things I don't.  I want you to find someone to really help.  If that isn't me, I will work to give you options with someone else and send you along with my best wishes.

Please know that any work that needs to be done, can be done.

Once you arrive at my office building, take the stairs to the third floor. At the top of the stairs, walk straight through the waiting room in front of you—ignore the waiting room to your right. After walking through that first waiting room, you'll see another smaller waiting room with a blue couch in it. That seat’s for you!

Please make yourself comfortable and I will meet you at our scheduled time.
